Al Taylor: Morocco, Late 1940s

Alexander Taylor was a professional photographer who worked for JDC over three decades. JDC's Al Taylor photo collection is primarily from the post-World War II period and focuses on three main regions of the Jewish world: Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. He covered major events and developments in twentieth-century Jewish—and JDC—history, such as Jewish life in North Africa, Operation Magic Carpet from Yemen, and the Displaced Persons (DP) camps in Europe.
